Over 185,000 visitors flocked to Poole Museum in 2016, making it the most popular free attraction in Dorset. Robert Syms was re-elected as MP for Poole in the June 2017 General Election. He won 28,888 votes, a majority of 14,209 over the Labour candidate and representing 57.9% of the votes cast. Congratulations, Robert!

Robert Syms, MP for Poole, recently visited the newly refurbished Poole High Street branch of Barclays Bank to view recent changes and to discuss local business. Robert: “I enjoyed the visit. I am glad that Barclays is optimistic about future business growth in Poole. I am happy to see that Barclays is both upgrading their branches and investing in their staff. I was particularly struck by the apprenticeship programme the branch offers for local young people.”
