Janet Walton has lived in Poole for over 32 years. Having spent some of those years living in Hamworthy, she knows the area well, and is concerned for Hamworthy to be well represented on BCP Council.

Janet is an experienced Councillor having served on the Borough of Poole Council for 12 years eventually becoming Leader of the Council.

She’s involved in community projects across Poole, enjoys singing in a church choir and is interested in environmental issues - particularly the research and development into green energy.

Janet ran her own business in the sports and fitness industries, has worked in business and finance and still does some part time consultancy work.
