John is Deputy Chairman Political, responsible for co-ordinating both campaigning and political events organised by Poole Conservatives. A former councillor and cabinet member at Borough of Poole Council, he was also elected as a BCP councillor for Canford Cliffs ward in 2023. When not involved in local politics, he publishes SportsNation, a business magazine for the sports & physical activity sector and an industry that he has been involved in for almost forty years. 

He can often be found walking with his partner and their dog, Buddy, on Sandbanks beach and most Saturdays is either running in the ParkRun at Poole Park or helping out as a volunteer marshal.
