A resident of Penn Hill, Remy came to Dorset 29 years ago to take up a consultant anaesthetic post at Poole Hospital. Having retired and returned to the NHS to help during Covid 19 he now has time to contribute and is looking forward to helping the local community.
Remy has a wealth of experience in the NHS and has chaired several committees. This has given him the necessary skills of communication, listening and negotiation that is required to effectively represent the residents of Penn Hill. He is no stranger to challenging the establishment in pursuit of the issues that are important. For Poole residents he will take on the back-to-basics challenges of street maintenance, tackling crime and anti-social behaviour as well as planning and development.
Years of working for the NHS has given him insight into the importance of community cohesion and wellbeing as well as the positive benefits this can have on individuals and families. This includes the importance of environment and housing. Remy also appreciates the importance of the continued development of business infrastructure, social care and education.
