Cllr Ian Potter - Oakdale

Ian has lived in Poole his whole life and resides in Oakdale with his family. He enjoys spending time with his daughter who now attends St. Edwards Secondary School and his interests include most sports and travelling. 

After working over 25 years in the electronics industry for companies based locally in Poole he now works as a qualified residential property surveyor when not carrying out his Council duties. 

He became a Cabinet member last year with responsibilities for Transportation, Carbon Reduction and Burial Services. He was appointed Director of Poole Housing Partnership and a Governor of St. Marys Primary school.

As a Councillor, Ian represents Oakdale residents in all aspects of Council business.
