Thank you for visiting our site. Here you can find the latest news, information about Robert Syms MP and Poole Conservatives, what we are doing and what we believe in.
About us
Poole Conservative Association campaigns for the return of Conservative candidates in local, national and European elections in respect of the Borough of Poole, the parliamentary constituency of Poole and the UK's South West region (for the European Parliament), respectively.
We bring together people from all walks of life who believe in Conservative principles to help achieve this aim. We are a vibrant group that is both politically and socially active. Outside election time, we offer a range of different ways to engage with the Party and its elected representatives, ranging from social events, to political debates, business networking to social action projects.
We always welcome new members. Why not get involved? - it is rewarding and often good fun.
Re-engaging with politics
Politics is important. Our elected representatives determine the laws that govern us and make key decisions that affect our access to health and education services, the amount of money in our pockets and our country's status in the world. Parliament as a whole has let us all down by permitting the abuse of expense claims. However, many MPs did not abuse the system and we believe that it is essential for the British public to re-engage with politics if we are to reform the system and return to a fully-functioning democracy.
We encourage you to have your say by joining the Conservative Party.
